Core 3 Studio Project
Project Description
This project establishes itself as an invitation to the Fair Haven community. Through a phenomenological exploration, water is experienced directly and indirectly throughout the site, giving rise to all the programs. Sound, reflections, humidity, and flow are woven through the site to create layered water experiences in its material and sensory properties. The library is held up by a tower of books, touching the existing building while still reasserting itself as a new public institution.
