Project Description
Inflata-box explores the correlation and relationship between scripting language, architecture, and its translation into physical space. This was done by interfacing several computational softwares. A web camera tracks a red object across the screen and activates a field of cells in a Processing sketch. These squares on the tv monitor correlate to the Inflata-box’s Arduino-controlled fans, which are activated when the object tracked by the camera is in vicinity of the designated squares. The relaying of information makes palatable the complex underpinnings of the Inflata-box’s simple respiratory modules.
