You can map (connect) to class and resource folders if you are off campus. You will need to enable a VPN connection before you can map or connect to these server folders.
Step 1:
Click the File Explorer, Right Click on the This PC and lastly choose Map Network Drive.
Step 2:
In the folder field, type in a folder from the list below
List of folders you can map:
\\storage.yale.edu\home\Arch_Courses-776101-YSOA
\\storage.yale.edu\home\Arch_Resources_and_Special_Projects-776101-YSOA
\\storage.yale.edu\home\Arch_ScanDropBox-776101-YSOA
\\storage.yale.edu\home\Arch_Temporary_Space-776101-YSOA
Check the box that says “Connect using different credentials”. Click the Finish button.
This will connect to the classes folder.
Step 3:
Type in your NetId and password at the prompt. For you NetId, you have to type “Yale\NetID”
Click OK and you folder will map.
