Alberto Martinez Garcia
Alberto Martinez Garcia is an architect and architectural historian, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the history and theory of architecture at Yale. He also holds a Master of Environmental Design (MED) from YSoA, an M.Arch II degree from The Cooper Union, and an architectural degree from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM). Alberto is the cofounder of Hidden Architecture, an architectural magazine that attempts to recover buildings, projects, and theories in a cartography format as a design tool for practitioners. His work has received several awards and fellowships including the Tinker Research Grant, the Harold C. Conklin Research Fellowship, the COAM Award, and the British Architectural Library Trust (BALT) fellowship. He has participated in several exhibitions and lectures, including the XVI Biennale di Venezia, the North Gallery at Yale School of Architecture, and The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture (UTSOA).
