Jaime Solares is a Brazilian LGBTQIAP+ architect and urban planner with a BArch (2015) and M.Sc. (2020) from the University of São Paulo. Teacher at Escola da Cidade (2020-2021). Researcher at the Critical Thinking and Contemporary City Research Group/USP since 2015. Associate Director of Communications of the International Committee of Architecture Critics - CICA since 2023. Coordinator of the LGBTQIA+ axis of the Paulista Heritage Education Network – REPEP (2015-2019). Coordinator of the Institute of Architects of Brazil - IABsp Teaching Platform (2020-2022) and Architectural Award (2021, 2022, 2023). Worked in several offices, including ELEMENTAL, AMZ Arquitetos, and Estúdio Mariana Wilderom. Has articles published in specialized magazines such as ArchDaily, Galeria da Arquitetura, Vitruvius, and Architectural Journal (China). Researches theory and criticism of contemporary architecture, gender, body, and sexuality.
