Gustav Nielsen: Gowanus Plays Itself - The project seeks to instigate a counter culture to the existing film industry in Gowanus, Brooklyn, utilising legal instruments such as the land trust and the ‘club’ as well as the social potentials of the projected gaze to assist in a productive resistance to the fast paced gentrification facing the city.
