Annie Barrett

Annie Barrett is a founding partner of aanda, an architecture practice based in New York City and Philadelphia that collaborates with individuals and organizations to design and construct unique spaces for civic, community, and family life. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Architectural Record, Log, Wallpaper, Dwell, and New York Magazine. At YSoA, Annie coordinates the second semester core studio, and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in architecture and urban studies. Prior to joining the faculty here, Annie taught graduate and undergraduate studios at the Princeton School of Architecture, Columbia GSAPP, Parsons, and Pratt Institute. Annie received her BA with distinction in Urban Studies from Yale University and her MArch I from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
