Regina Teng

Critic

Regina Vest Teng is founding principal of GINA—A, an architecture studio & design consultancy with offices in Los Angeles and New York. Her work examines the intersection of environment, nature and culture, with a research focus on climate aesthetics. Teng has been published in GA Document and PLAT Journal, amongst others, and exhibited internationally in Zurich, Shanghai, Tokyo and Venice.

Previously, Teng was a project lead at Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa / SANAA, involved in projects from concept to construction phases. Completed buildings include Osaka University of Art (2018) and Sydney Modern at the Art Gallery of New South Wales (2022). Teng earned her Master of Architecture I from Princeton University. Prior to Yale, she taught at UCLA, Columbia University and Princeton University.
