At the physical intersection of art and construction, a building results. Construction is inherently an art form, and art is inherently a process of construction. Their external connection results in a physical artifact. Architecture, however, exists not at the surface of this connection. The essence of architecture is rooted deep within the interpenetration of the philosophies of art and making and building. Architecture ultimately becomes defined through art and construction, both inherently experiential and a complete, physical artifact, a meticulous internal interweaving of ideology and an external outward expression of intricate tectonic connections.
To my family, and all of the amazing people that I’ve met during my time here, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making this all possible. I love you all.
