Retrospecta_046 is a reference book. Think of it as a catalog of architectural ideas.
Each year, Retrospecta catalogs activity at the Yale School of Architecture, providing a snapshot of evolving architectural and graphic design trends. The book records events and outstanding circumstances that have uniquely impacted the academic, social, and political environment at the school.
In producing this volume, the editorial team sought to archive the 2022-2023 academic year. A reference system based on a taxonomy of organizational concepts including tags and an indexing system allows the book’s content to be both searchable and cross-referential. The book closes with an archive of images associated with the past year, including colloquia, exhibitions, lectures, organizations, publications, student life, and symposia.
