Oliver Elser works as a curator at the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) in Frankfurt am Main. He is the co-founder of the CCSA (Center for Critical Studies in Architecture).
Elser was a visiting professor for architecture theory at the KIT in Karlsruhe (2021). He has worked as a curatorial fellow at the M+ museum, Hong Kong (2019). Elser was the curator of Making Heimat, the German Pavilion at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. He is also an architecture journalist and critic for Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Frankfurter Rundschau, Texte zur Kunst.
