Image Architecture Place
This fast-paced panel discussion convenes a group of architects, designers, and critics to question the confluence of image, architecture, and place. Some now suggest that images are so ubiquitous that they have replaced thinking itself. Others argue that situating images in a single place liquidates all their seductive power. The event will query the potential of place for image-architecture by looking at a small number of influential images. Hosted in conjunction with the Swissness Applied exhibition, a reception will follow in the Yale Architecture Gallery. These events are free and open to the public.
