Lipstick, Revisited
Join us for the unveiling of In We Trust, a temporary monument built by two architecture students in the juried competition Lipstick, Revisited. The winning entry reprises the gesture of Claes Oldenburg’s “unwanted gift” to the University in 1969, Lipstick (Ascending) on Caterpillar Tracks, but in a completely different form that evokes cultures of protest in America today. A happening with music, performance, and more on Beinecke Plaza to follow.
